1) Robbery C.R.S. 18-4-301
2) Aggravated Robbery C.R.S. 18-4-302
3) Aggravated Robbery of a controlled substance C.R.S. 18-4-303
Robbery
Class 4 felony
Possible sentence: 2 - 6 years in prison with a mandatory parole term of 3 years following release.
A person can be charged with Robbery if any of the following apply:
A person knowingly takes anything of value from the person or presence of another by the use of force, threats, or intimidation.
Aggravated Robbery
Class 3 felony
Possible sentence: 4 - 12 years in prison with a mandatory parole term of 5 years following release.
A person commits Aggravated Robbery if during the course of the robbery OR immediate flight therefrom any of the following applies:
1) The person is armed with a deadly weapon with intent, if resisted, to kill, maim, or wound the person robbed OR any other person; or,
2) The person wounds or strikes the person robbed OR any other person with a deadly weapon OR by the use of force, threats, or intimidation with a deadly weapon knowingly puts the person robbed OR any other person in reasonable fear of death or bodily injury; or
3) The person has a confederate, aiding or abetting the perpetration of the robbery, armed with a deadly weapon, with the intent, either on the part of the defendant or confederate, if resistance is offered, to kill, maim, or wound the person robbed OR any other person, OR by the use of force, threats, or intimidation puts the person robbed OR any other person in a reasonable fear of death or bodily injury; or,
4) He possesses any article used or fashioned in a mannner to lead any person who is present reasonably to be believe it to be a deadly weapon or represents verbally OR otherwise that he is then and there so armed.

Aggravated Robbery of a Controlled Substance
Class 2 felony
Possible sentence: 8 - 24 years in prison with a mandatory parole term of 5 years following release.
A person can be charged with Class 2 Aggravated Robbery of a Controlled Substance if any of the following applies:
A person who:
1) is armed with a deadly weapon with intent, if resisted, to kill, maim, or wound the person robbed OR any other person; or,
2) wounds or strikes the person robbed OR any other person with a deadly weapon OR by the use of force, threats, or intimidation with a deadly weapon knowingly puts the person robbed OR any other person in reasonable fear of death or bodily injury; or
3) has a confederate, aiding or abetting the perpetration of the robbery, armed with a deadly weapon, with the intent, either on the part of the defendant or confederate, if resistance is offered, to kill, maim, or wound the person robbed OR any other person, OR by the use of force, threats, or intimidation puts the person robbed OR any other person in a reasonable fear of death or bodily injury; or,
4) possesses any article used or fashioned in a mannner to lead any person who is present reasonably to be believe it to be a deadly weapon or represents verbally OR otherwise that he is then and there so armed; and takes any controlled substance from any pharmacy or other place having lawful possession thereof or from any pharmacist OR other person having lawful possession thereof.
