Denver Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer
I hear it every week from prospective clients: "I do
not want to speak with a junior attorney; I want to speak with the person

to legal representation regardless of personal finances. During law school

and public corruption.
Types of Criminal Cases I Handle
My criminal defense practice focuses on the representation of individuals
charged with violating federal or Colorado criminal laws. Clients benefit
from my 29 years as a criminal trial attorney. I have handled hundreds
of complex criminal jury trials involving all types of felony cases. Some
of these previous trials have been high profile, with offenses involving:
kidnapping resulting in death (a death penalty case), murder for hire,
and public corruption.
Being charged with a criminal offense is a very frightening and life changing
event. A good criminal defense attorney will fight for your rights. Many
times prosecutors are looking to make a name for themselves and will seek
a conviction at all costs and without concern for how this will affect
you or your family. Additionally, you have constitutional rights. Two
of those constitutional rights are: one is the right to trial by a jury
of your peers and the other is every person is innocent until proven guilty
beyond a reasonable doubt. Make sure you have a qualified and experienced
criminal trial attorney working for you. My criminal trial experience
against all types of prosecutors (federal and state) has given me the
tools to fight for your rights and defend your case.

How you respond to a criminal charge is very important to your rights,
now and in the future. There are considerations far beyond the immediate
release on bail after being charged with a crime. Should you ever be charged
in federal criminal court, a previous state court conviction will have
a severe impact on the sentencing options a federal criminal court judge
will have. My experience in U.S. District courts can give you the edge
to make sure your rights are not lost in the hue and cry of prior state
